The biggest challenge was HSP Mobility’s reliance on manual systems and outdated IT infrastructure. There were gaps in security, with many devices not receiving timely Windows updates and no formal software security measures in place. Additionally, the transition to a modern, secure cloud environment required overcoming resistance to change and ensuring that all users were onboarded smoothly with minimal disruption.

Implementation Plan:

Mint MSP’s strategy began with a thorough assessment of the current IT landscape, identifying gaps in security, cloud licensing, and operational efficiency. This was followed by a realignment of the cloud environment to a secure Microsoft 365 and Azure solution, ensuring compliance with industry standards and Microsoft best practices. The solution included migrating all 12 users to M365 Business Premium to ensure they were sufficiently covered from both a security and productivity standpoint. What Would You Do Differently?

In hindsight, it would have been beneficial to schedule additional training sessions to support user adoption and ensure smoother re-adoption to the cloud and ICT service model.
